Nine of Spades Jordan Novak was born in Spade Castle on November 17, 1986 to Laureline and Dwayne Novak, a Ten and Nine of Spades respectively, and was raised there until the age of thirteen. When he was five, his little brother Hadyn was born and they were both bred and trained to be the most vicious sorts of Spades, loyal only to themselves and to the Queen of the Spades, Medea. They would both rise high. They would both take their places at the top of the Suit - Jordan as the King and Hadyn as Ace. Dwayne’s death meant that things didn’t quite go as planned. The Novaks fled to the Hearts. The plan’s now a little different, a little more insiduous. Jordan and Hadyn - raised to be perfection as both Spades and Hearts - will still rise to the top of the Suit - Jordan as the King and Hadyn as the Ace. Of Hearts. It takes time to change a Suit so drastically, of course. But Jordan is a patient sort of man. He was taught to be, after all. |
