November 17, 1986: Jordan Anthony Novak is born to Dwayne Novak (9♠) and Laureline Bernard Novak (10♠) in Spade Castle.

July 7, 1991: Jordan's younger brother, Hadyn Matthew, is born in Spade Castle. Unbeknownst to anyone but Laureline, he is the result of a brief affair with Georgios Kattalakis, a recently arrived Heart.

1996: David becomes King of Spades; Medea begins to slide further into insanity

1999: Laureline kills Dwayne when he threatens to kill both her and Hadyn for the affair with Georgios; The Novaks flee to the Hearts with Laureline telling her sons that David killed their father. Athena kills Medea and becomes Queen of Spades.

2001: Jordan enters the Hearts as a Two and receives permission to challenge Reyes Martinsson (4♥) in fencing. He won decisively and was countered in wushu, which he was also judged the clear winner of. Dates both Irene and Charlotte Berthier at different points of the year.

2002:Challenged by Mykhaila Ishtar (3♥) in Where's Waldo. Locates Waldo in two minutes, ending the contest.

2003:Challenges Deòrsa Lim (5♥) in Eight-Ball and wins. Deòrsa counters in darts, which Jordan wins with a score of 170. Briefly dates Joon Song-Laurent. Begins working in the Heart Library.

2004: Challenges Alishia Liliya (6♥) in Go, wins with a score of 247. Alishia counters in chess, which Jordan wins. Promoted to Head of Heart Library and Archives.

2006: Challenges Nathaniel Lodewijk (7♥) in archery, wins with a score of 56-45. Nathaniel counters in badminton, which Jordan wins with a score of 16-14. Laureline begins to involve him more in their plan to make he and Hadyn King and Ace of Hearts.

2008: Challenges Bernard Heidrich (8♥) in kickboxing, wins four rounds out of five. Bernard does not counter.

2009: Challenges Cassandra Devin (9♥) in knife throwing, wins with a score of 28-23. Cassandra counters in croquet, which Jordan wins with a score of 30-26.

2012: Begins to plan his challenge of Blythe Merrick (10♥), teasing her into thinking she knows what format he'll choose. Sent by Ceiro on an off-Deck mission involving Andrea Cruz-Well. Begins to reconnect with his childhood friend, Meghana Sankaran. Hadyn falls into a coma from injuries sustained off-Deck.
